Finding exclusivity in Moroccan property

By: Find An Overseas Property

When His Highness Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed was declared King of Morocco in 1999 he pledged to put Morocco on the world map and the Moroccan people, who are very loyal to their King, are backing his plans fully. The Moroccan government created their national tourism strategy, the Azur programme, the main objective of which is to attract five times as many tourists in 2010 as in 2002 and create 600,000 jobs within the tourism industry. They will create 6 new coastal resorts, build new roads, develop international airports, and increase direct flights from all over Europe.

Morocco offers year round sunshine that makes it an ideal winter sun destination with a climate and sea conditions perfect for water sports. So close to Europe yet the gateway to Africa, Morocco has a unique culture and beautiful landscape. The growing popularity of Morocco is such that tourist numbers from the UK increased by 18% between 2004 and 2005 and a staggering 36% in 2006 that saw nearly 6.4m tourists visit Morocco last year. With a simple buying process similar to the UK and Ireland, favourable tax laws for foreign investors and mortgages of 60%-70% available, it’s easy to see why Morocco is the latest hot spot for overseas property.

A particularly stunning creation of the Azur programme has been the resort of Mediterrania Saidia. The Master Plan for this resort, which borders 6kms of beautiful unspoilt Mediterranean coastline, includes 11 Hotels, one Championship and two further 18 holes golf courses, an 840 berth marina and several shopping centres with designer brand names such as Armani, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Massimo Dutti and many more.

The resort offers it's own Aqua Park with Olympic size swimming pool, an Equestrian Centre incorporating Polo Lawns and a state of the art Wellness Centre and SPA facility. The resort is only 1.5km from the sea at the farthest point, which means that you can easily travel around on foot, by bicycle or on the free bus service provided. However, a stroll along the 6km promenade will no doubt be one of the best ways to access all points and appreciate the host of facilities.

Find An Overseas Property are able to offer the prestige "Le Jardin de Fleur" properties within the Government backed Mediterrania Saidia resort, the creme-de-la-creme of this development and one that offers special privileges to their owners. Right now prices are attractive and affordable due to the fact that the properties are off-plan and have a good period of time before completion. However, the popularity of the project means that this won’t be the case for long - it is forecast that Mediterrania Saidia will attract a minimum of 250,000 visitors a year increasing to more than 500,000 by 2012. The size and quality of the "Le Jardin de Fleur" properties is second to none and the initial units released have sold very quickly indeed. The facilities and amenities within the resort are first class and will not be paralleled anywhere else. As the development progresses and more people become aware of exactly how attractive the properties and the resort will be, they will want to be part of it and as a consequence, prices will rise. You can benefit by getting into "Le Jardin de Fleur" now.
